BIO: Claire
As a little girl watching her mother colour her hair at home, Claire always begged to "please paint some on me too!" With a passion for art, hair is her canvas: "The science of hair and countless possibilities of what we can do with hair are what amaze and inspire me. I feel extremely lucky to have a job in which I can create, colour and sculpt everyday," she says. Having trained at the L'Oreal Academy in Toronto, Claire holds a Colour Specialist Degree and has extensive knowledge of hair colouring and colour correction. This training has allowed Claire to asses her clients' needs and give them beautiful results. As a self-proclaimed travel Junkie, and eternal student of hair, Claire frequently attends workshops and conventions in Paris (Mondial Coiffure Beaute) and New York (International Beauty Show), to stay up to date with the latest hair trends and fashions . As well, Claire speaks English, Spanish and is currently learning French, which lets her connect with a range of clientele. With over 16 years of experience, of all Claire's professional achievements, she is proudest of the relationships she has built with her clients. She is driven by the joy she often gets from being part of the most special days in their lives - graduations, weddings, a child's first haircut! Claire joined Donna Dolphy Hair team in June 2011.
